Aim and Scope

Our journal aims to address society from different perspectives and to encourage interdisciplinary work. For this reason, it accepts studies related to Education, Social Services and Sociology sciences and focuses on the joint studies of these fields. It aims to create a common space for studies addressed within the scope of this purpose.

Our journal accepts quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods articles. The focus is on the effectiveness of the results rather than the complexity of the method. For this reason, all justified methods are valuable for our journal, but it is important that the results are well explained and well justified. Studies with effective results and large multiplier effects are very important for our journal.

Aim
IStLJ aims to examine education and society from a different perspective and publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that contribute scientifically for this purpose. The journal accepts current and traditional studies in the fields of education, social work and sociology. Education, society, politics and work are included in psycho-social dimensions. It is a basic condition that all submitted studies are examined in the context of at least one of the disciplines of education, social work or sociology.

• Education: It includes studies related to education, especially leadership, education policies, education reform, crisis management, organization management, comparative education practices, global perspectives, current problems in education, social participation, culture and cultural studies, technological innovations and use of technology in education, inclusive and integrative education studies, teacher and administrator development studies.
• Social services: Family, child, youth, women, disability, criminality, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, alcoholism, migration, refugee and asylum issues, working life, school social work, human rights, civil society and other social areas and problems in this framework are included.
• Sociology: Positivism, antipositivism / postpositivism, structural functionalism, sociology of institutions, social theory, feminism, critical theory, sociology of education, educational social science, sociology of knowledge and sociology of conflict, sociology of popular culture and culture, social and cultural anthropology and other areas and problems in this framework are included.
