Abstract

This article examines the changing dynamics of school reputation management in Turkey and compares traditional methods with contemporary digital strategies. Key components that shape school reputation, such as academic performance, extra-curricular achievements, school culture, facilities, and alumni success, are identified. The study examines the effectiveness and limitations of traditional methods such as print media, word-of-mouth, and alumni participation. The advantages of digital strategies such as social media engagement, well-designed websites, email newsletters, online reviews, and virtual tours are highlighted. The findings suggest that while traditional methods remain valuable, they face significant limitations in terms of cost and access. In contrast, digital strategies offer a wider reach and more interaction with potential families. The article also examines the specific context of Turkey, where school reputation is heavily influenced by societal expectations, parental pressure, and the country's unique blend of tradition and modernity. It is imperative for modern schools in Turkey to integrate digital strategies to enhance their reputation and maintain their success in a competitive environment.
