SURVEY OF EMPHATİC TENDENCY OF SCHOOL PRINCIPALS

Abstract

This survey in its contemporary form aims at measuring the emphatic ability levels of director assistants. It not only tries to contribute to the relations of the school directors with each other and with the students ; but it also tries to compare the emphatic ability levels of school directors from different school types .For the purpose of gathering data about the survey ; a "personal information form" which includes the information about the teachers and directors and a "emphatic tendency scale " which aims at defining the emphatic ability levels of both the teachers and the directors were used . The data gathered during the survey was evaluated with the help of SPSS 24.0 packet program. In the analysis of the data gathered; frequency and percentage distributions, "t” test ,"one way variance analysis "( ANOVA ) were used .It has been seen that the emphatic ability levels of the teachers and directors don't differ meaningfully according to their sex, educational level , working experience, marital status , income level or personal professional improvements
