Families have a long-term responsibility for their children. They share this responsibility with other people and institutions throughout their lives. Schools and teachers can also be given as examples of these institutions and people. Especially preschool teachers and pre-school institutions constitute the most important step. During the preschool period, children learn social behavior, socializing and working together as they prepare for primary school. Children who grow up in a healthy way with an appropriate physical and social environment can develop successfully. In this age where we want to raise children with healthy and desired behaviors, it is necessary to know their developmental characteristics and their needs in the light of these characteristics. Preschool education, which includes many periods that children go through until they start primary school, may therefore be even more important. Increasing children's interest in learning and revealing the child's existing abilities are among the aims of pre-school education. The preschool period is seen as the period when children's learning potential is high. Considering the importance of this period, it is seen that it is necessary for the child to establish healthy relationships, learn cultural values and socialize. For this reason, great importance is given to family participation in addition to school education. In order for family participation to be effectively successful, it is important to know the expectations of mothers and fathers whose children attend pre-school institutions. and active participation may be required
